Terms of service

These terms apply when you book or buy sessions from Team Red Studio (“Team Red”, “we”). By booking, you agree to them.

1. What we provide

We provide live, remote guidance sessions with experienced developers and system administrators, by video call. Sessions are 55 minutes unless stated otherwise. We help you understand, set up and build software yourself, using tools such as Claude Code. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, sessions are guidance and education, not a commitment to deliver finished software.

2. Your computer and your accounts

  • You stay in control of your computer and accounts at all times. Our experts guide you; they do not take remote control.
  • Our experts will never ask for your passwords, keys or other secrets. Please don’t share them, on screen or otherwise.
  • You are responsible for your own systems, data, accounts and backups, and for the actions you take on them, including actions you take on our suggestion. Please make a backup before changing anything important, and test on a copy before changing live systems.

3. Third-party services

Claude and Claude Code are products of Anthropic, PBC. We are independent, and not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. You need your own accounts and paid plans for third-party services (such as Claude, GitHub, Bitbucket, hosting providers and domain registrars), and their own terms apply to them.

4. Confidentiality

We treat what you show us in a session, including your ideas and code, as confidential, and use it only to help you. Need a formal confidentiality agreement? Just ask.

5. Your work belongs to you

Anything you build during sessions is yours. We claim no ownership of your code, ideas or content.

6. Payment, cancellations and refunds

Prices are shown before you pay, and payment is taken by card through our payment processor, Braintree. Cancellation, expiry and refund rules are in our cancellations & refunds policy.

7. Liability

We give our honest, expert best in every session, but software and AI tools can behave unexpectedly, and we cannot guarantee any particular outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the sessions concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost data, profits or business.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
